The Dancer
A tambourine shivers, filling the air with the sound of silver, and silks carve shapes out of the air as the Dancer leaps and spins. Whatever they have left behind to come to the Citadel, that is in the past, and this is the now — they bring only themselves into the dance, unashamed to let the world see them for who they truly are.
It’s time to stop worrying about what the world thinks of you, and embrace the parts of yourself that you’ve been trying to make more “palatable” to others. Self-acceptances comes with maturity and a recognition of your own capability — a revelation that is stronger for having come through a period of doubt. It’s time to free yourself from your past and embrace yourself for you. You have a strength and a compassion within you that you haven’t realized yet.
Conversely, you could be entering a period of uncertainty. Life may be about to put you in a position where you feel out of your depth, but don’t let fear and a lack of confidence make the situation worse. You must remember that your inner strength is still there, and learn to harness it in a new and empowering way.

The Orator
The seats of the theater curve away on either side of you, filled with a rapt audience waiting for the performance to begin. On the stage, a single figure clears their throat and begins their soliloquy … Even when they’re not performing, the Orator speaks with complete confidence. They’ve never shied away from a public stage, but they’re so used to reading from a script that sometimes they find themselves tongue-tied when it comes to thinking for themselves.
Doubting yourself is only holding you back. It’s okay if you take a little longer to think about how to voice your needs and desires — writing a “script” of how to ask for these things might even benefit you here. Be confident in taking up a space and letting your voice be heard.
Conversely, someone (perhaps even you) is saying things that aren’t necessarily true; their words are what they think others want to hear. Though there can be a kindness in white lies, you’ll quickly become tangled in a net of your own making. Honesty is the best policy, and if you choose your words well, a hard truth doesn’t have to be difficult to hear.

The Spymaster
Nothing happens in the Citadel that escapes the Spymaster’s notice. They must surely be one of the most powerful people in the Court — and yet their office is a small affair, crowded with papers and bottles of stale drink.
In knowing how fallible people truly are, how can they trust anyone else? Knowledge is both a stepping-stone to power and a poison to optimism, and in seeking it so voraciously, the Spymaster has become trapped on a lonely path.
The pursuit of knowledge is a grand goal, but don’t let it tarnish your opinion of the world. If you only pay attention to the negative, you can find every person’s flaws, every piece of bad news, ever shadow even on a sunny day. Instead, try to exercise some positivity and forgive those around you for their faults. A relationship or situation can be so much better if its flaws are acknowledged, but not focused on above all else.
Conversely, your high standards are only setting others up to disappoint you. Rather than expecting too much of people, try to recognize where you’re being unrealistic and accept that nothing is perfect.
